Red Cross training is provided for all positions. Some positions may require specific certifications or licenses. We’ll help you find one that fits your skills and volunteer goals!
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Disaster Services Team Member (DAT) - This volunteer opportunity will require special training that will be given to you by the American Red Cross. DAT members support local fire departments throughout the county and assist families who have lost property due to disasters that include fires, floods, tornados, and earthquakes. DAT members are highly skilled and may be called upon at any time.
Blood Services Team Members - Team members that are volunteering their time provide assistance at the scheduled American Red Cross Blood Mobiles throughout Defiance County. These volunteers assist staff members with many aspects of blood collection.
