The Youth of Defiance County can be
involved with many different types of
activities at the American Red Cross of Defiance County. Whether the young
person be in high school or attending
college, there are many Volunteer
Opportunities available.
Babysitter Safety Training
Babysitters are responsible for a life! It is important that the babysitter know life saving techniques that may be needed in an emergency.
The American Red Cross of Defiance County offers babysitter training courses that allow the young person the opportunity to learn general first aid practices and life-saving techniques like the abdominal thrust for a blocked airway and CPR.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities
Young volunteers can participate on the disaster teams that help people in times of tragedy, they can be involved with area blood mobiles, and they can assist with the fundraising initiatives that keep the American Red Cross of Defiance County in operation.
